Katie’s reputation for being as sensitive as she is savvy grew quickly and she’s became an in-demand stylist for Trunk Club and Modewalk, later bought by Nordstrom and luxury fashion retailer Moda Operandi, respectively. Her work and advice has been featured in major media outlets including Vogue, In Style, Martha Stewart Weddings, Sheridan Road, Slate, Newsy, Rue, Thrillist and others. She’s currently based in New York City but travels to work with clients and is always searching for inspiration and the quality craftsmanship that informs her work.

A chance meeting in Chicago set the stage for a career that changed Katie’s life and many others. She ran into an old friend on Michigan Avenue who was desperate for some urgent fashion help. This came as no surprise, because Katie has always been known for her innately on-point notions about what to wear and was designing and sewing cross-body bags from custom orders for classmates since high school.
After graduating from DePauw University, Katie studied at Central Saint Martins, but helping that friend dress for her new job and life showed Katie how passionate she was about helping people feel confident and empowered through style.
